Colin’s note: What happens when human intelligence becomes as abundant as air… or dirt? Few people see this coming – including most investors. But thanks to artificial intelligence (“AI”), that’s the future we’re headed into.

And it’s harder to think of a bigger societal shift.

For all of history, intelligence has been something only humans have had. And it took time to develop higher levels of intelligence. That’s why we spend years going through school and university.

But that era is about to end. And in the new era that’s coming, intelligence will be a commodity like electricity or water.

What does this mean? And how can we profit?

Welcome to The Bleeding Edge. I’m Colin Tedards.

Today we’re going to talk about something few people see coming. We’re seeing a huge shift that’s reshaping society not only today… but into the future.

And the truth is, most investors are going to be in complete denial that this shift is happening.

And that’s actually the exciting part.

The investors who understand what’s about to happen next will have a huge advantage over those that don’t. And believe me, there’s going to be many investors who miss out on this trend.

To fully grasp what’s happening, we’ve got to take a step back.

For the entire history of civilization you gained knowledge through time. This is fairly easy to understand as we just need to follow our own journey through the education system.

We all started out in kindergarten just learning how to tie our shoes… And over time we gained more knowledge.

More importantly, knowledge wasn’t an equally distributed asset. The more access and time you spent acquiring knowledge, the more you typically had.

This is evident in society not just among people, but across entire countries as well.

We’ve also always thought of intelligence as this rare, human-only trait. Again, one that we needed to develop and hone over a long period of time.

But guess what?

We’re entering a world where intelligence is as abundant as the air we breathe. Intelligence is turning into a commodity… Something like electricity, running water, or as common as the dirt on the ground.

I’ve been reading subscriber feedback to an essay I wrote last week.

I said my six-year-old son can write at a college level with the aid of an AI computer system. That’s a fact.

And in a little more than a decade – when my son is finishing up high school – AI will be a better writer than nearly every human alive. In fact, that’s likely already the case.

So, what does this mean?

For starters, intelligence won’t be just something you’re born with or work years to develop anymore.

Countries that we often refer to as “Third World” or “developing” will have access to the same super-intelligence as developed nations.

Again, whether you like it or not, intelligence is going to become a commodity that will be available worldwide regardless of your age… where you’re from… and most importantly, how much time you’ve spent acquiring knowledge.

Now here’s the exciting part from an investor standpoint…

There’s an easy way to make money from these types of global trends. It’s the same method that worked when the combustion engine car was replacing the horse and buggy.

It worked as the internet was being built out to what we know it as today… It worked during the smartphone era… And it’s going to work again in the artificial intelligence era.

Or I think, more accurately, we should call this the Machine Intelligence era. This is where machines will hold more knowledge than humans.

You’ll make money during this era by investing in what I call “background stocks.” These are stocks that perform well no matter what company wins.

It doesn’t matter if Nvidia’s chips are used over Intel’s. It doesn’t matter if Microsoft’s AI ends up being better than Google’s.

These stocks win no matter what.

I want to teach you more about this method of investing. So I’ve setup a special event. It’s free to attend.

It’s this Thursday, November 16, at 1 p.m. ET. You can sign up right here. I’d love to share more details with you at that time.

Again it doesn’t cost anything to attend, and I’d love to see you there.

Regards,
